“What do you mean by branding session?”

Ever think that?

I mean, you probably have an idea of what a branding session is but you need some extra explainin’.

I would too!

I don’t blame ya’.

Let’s start with the opposite of “branding”.

You’ve seen it, right?

The business using stock photos all over their social platforms.

No real “personality” behind it.

Feel’s kinda dull and impersonal right?

You may be like, “Lauren! That’s me right now.”

No worries friend.

You gotta start somewhere!

Something is better than nothing.

So, since the “stock” feel is sort of the opposite of branding...

What is branding?

Well..simply put,

It’s just capturing the “who” behind your business and getting it on camera.

What does that mean?

Well, let’s say you have a serious PASSION for coffee.

First off, my husband would high five you.

The guy loves coffee.

But what that looks like is you showing up to one of the natural light studios we use in DFW.

You show up wearing the outfit that make you feel like the boss you are.

You sit back at one of the clean desks we have in the studio.

Prop your laptop up on it.

Bring your favorite mug.

And start “typing” on the computer.

I start snappin’ some photos of you.

You take a “sip” from that amazing mug of yours.

I’ll start snappin some more photos of you.

Music will be playing in the background.

You’ll be feeling good.

Before long you’ll be feeling “natural” doing all the stuff you normally do when you are working. I’ll show you the back of my camera the whole time.

You’ll be able to see how good you're looking as we go through the shoot.

No “stuffy” photos.

All “you”.

Coffee lovin’, hard workin’, people servin’ person that you are.

I get you all set up with different shots.

Some behind a desk.

Some sitting on a couch.

Some “talking on the phone”.

And on and on.

By the time you are done with the session and get your photos back, you have officially “branded” yourself.

Now when you go to post those photos on social media, your website, your email list.. Your natural you will be the brand.
